I noticed the Instagram follower count had changed. That was the first sign. I checked again, and this time it was clear: I’d been blocked.
I went back to my messages. The last one I’d sent hadn’t been seen. More than a day had passed. That wasn’t normal for us. We’d been sending each other those small, supportive messages, sharing bits of our routines, the things people do when they’re building something real.
