No reply ≠ weakness

Anonymous’s experience

What happened

I asked someone to stop contacting me and blocked them, but they kept calling from different numbers and my former contractor publicly declared herself a cofounder — now I feel angry, anxious, and a bit guilty about how I handled it.

What I took from it

What happened was harassment and a pressure tactic, not a legitimate claim or conversation; you already took the step that removes her leverage by stopping engagement and involving your lawyer. Feeling anger, worry about reputation, and some guilt about not saying a firmer no sooner are all understandable reactions, not proof you failed — they’re responses to a messy, threatening situation you managed under real risk.

What I'd do now

Save one clear record: open an email or note, write a single line listing the dates you blocked her, when she declared herself cofounder publicly, and that your lawyer is handling contact — then save the file where you keep legal or work records.
